RELAX-ART
In November 2083 I visited “RELAX-ARTE”, the most famous disco-sex in Mexico City, a place to flirt where sex can be a good outcome, but not necessarily. You can also access it if you only want to share with people with common tastes and preferences.
I was struck by the mix of ages and genders of those present (straight, bi, gay, trans, lesbian, intersex..., from 20 to 70 years old) and that they all wore t-shirts with pictorial prints.
These prints – and it is what differentiates “RELAX-ARTE from other similar businesses – contain encrypted information about the wearer's tastes and preferences (a kind of QR code). When two or more like-minded people cross paths, the pattern of each one of them turns red with shades ranging from pink to crimson depending on the level of coincidence. The rest was going to some booths, where a screen reveals the matching points deciphered by a code reader; what happens next is in the hands of those involved.
In our store you can buy some of these shirts – which in 2083 are ordered online from a few companies authorized to do so. Unfortunately, the technology to read the code does not exist at present, but even for the beauty of the prints it is worth buying them.
